Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature before topping.Cream Cheese Layer: Beat the cream cheese with the powdered sugar until smooth. Stir in whipped topping and spread on cooled crust.Butterscotch Pudding Layer: Beat the pudding mix with the milk until the mixture begins to thicken. Spread on top of the cream cheese layer.Top with the last container of whipped topping. Cover with food service film and refrigerate for at least two hours before cutting into squares to serve. BUTTERSCOTCH LAYERED DESSERTI remember my grandma hosting the Ladies Aid from her Lutheran Church at her home. Besides having the home spotless (which it always was anyway), you were expected to serve a special dessert. One of her specialties was this butterscotch layered one that got the most recipe requests. Fortunately, I found it in her recipe box and in honor of Mother%u2019s Day, I%u2019m sharing it with you. Blessings to all those who still have these special people in their lives.Ingredients:Crust: %u2022 1 cup butter, melted%u2022 1 cup flour%u2022 1 teaspoon saltCream Cheese Layer:%u2022 1 8-ounces cream cheese, softened (I use whipped)%u2022 1 cup sifted powdered sugar%u2022 1 8-ounce container of whipped topping (like Cool Whip)Butterscotch Pudding Layer:%u2022 1 3.4-ounce package of instant butterscotch pudding%u2022 2 cups milk (use whole milk)Top Layer:%u2022 8 oz. container whipped topping Instructions:Preheat oven to 350 degrees;
